Developing tomorrow’s leaders.....today.

Why this? Why now?

Communities need leaders with vision, energy, and skills, to help set common goals and galvanize people into action.

In the past, informal mentoring provided leadership development.  Today, leadership skills are understood to be capable of being taught and learned and community leadership skills can be explicitly fostered.

More than 900 communities in Canada and the United States offer community leadership programs.  Twelve years ago, Leadership Vancouver began the trend in Canada, and now there are over twenty Canadian communities that have established programs.

Dryden has the unique distinction of being the only rural leadership program in Canada.
